The Shed is organized (ish), equipment has been handed out (mostly) and next up is everyone's favorite- THE VALLEY TOURNAMENT.
If you are new to Valley, we host a 3-day tournament the end of June. This is a huge undertaking and involves a lot of moving parts. to make it truly successful, we need PARENT/GUARDIAN involvement.
What does this mean? It means that we ask for parents/guardians to sign up to keep time and/or score at one of our fields, either when your child is playing, or another time if you prefer. Please PLEASE PLEASE sign up ahead of time for a time slot. By you signing up early, we get to stay organized and focused on other parts of the tournament. The sign up link will be coming soon.
Dates of the Tournament are:
K-2 Boys Instructional on June 21 Friday night 5-8pm
Boys 3-8 ALL DAY Saturday, June 22.
Girls K-8 ALL DAY Sunday June 23
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Welcome to Valley Lacrosse! Please register now for the 2024 season.
This year we will have Tuesday night clinics beginning in March, Sunday clinics in April, and our regular season will run from May to July, with games starting in June. There is a change in the ULA schedule this year -games will be played during the 4th of July week.
April Clinics- Sundays, Valley, 12-2pm 4/7/2024-4/28/2024- Grades K-8, Boys at Noon, Girls at 1pm.
Valley Plant Sale- Volunteers Needed- Meachem Field Parking Lot, 5/8/2024- 5/12/2024
Valley Regular Season Practices Begin- Week of 5/5/24 Monday-Thursday. Coaches will determine practice schedule but plan on 2 times a week, evenings, Valley Fields
ULA (Regular Season Games- Upstate Lacrosse Association) Games Begin- Week of June 10th. Monday Evenings - 3/4 Teams, Boys and Girls, Tuesday Evenings, 5/6 Teams Boys and Girls, Wednesday Evenings 7/8 Teams Boys and Girls- 6 weeks of games, first 2 weeks will consist of double headers. Total of 8 games per team.
Week of 7/22 will be for any makeup games of the season.
September- December- Fall Clinics, Burnet Park Field and/or Turf, TBD. Grades K-8, Girls and Boys
